If you love what you do it doesn't really matter if anybody else understands it. Right? Actually it DOES matter if you're a coach. Running guru Marc Bloom is the author of the autobiographical story "God On the Starting Line: The Triumph of a Catholic School Running Team and Its Jewish Coach." Today on Endurance Planet he talks about the sport he loves and how he got the kids to buy into his plan.
Where does the motivation to train come from and how
do you maintain it? Those are a couple of the
questions addressed today on Endurance Planet, a
Catching Up With The Coach Edition. Note: Beginning
next week Catching Up With The Coach becomes "Ask The
Coach". We want you to post your questions for Coach
Troy in the comments section and we'll pose them to
Troy in future podcasts. You can also e-mail your
question, if you prefer, to info@enduranceplanet.com.

succeed, try, try again." American Ben Collins

world championships last year when he crashed and
broke his collarbone. This week he returned to the
World Championships and had the race of his life. Ben
called Endurance Planet from the road to tell us about
the experience. That conversation, today, on
Endurance Planet. www.bencollins.org.

Everyone has a gift. David Goggins' gift is that he
can endure more than most. The Navy Seal from
southern California recently placed 3rd at the
Badwater Ultramarathon in just his second attempt on
the course. As he recently told The San Diego Tri
Club, "I love knowing that everyone's suffering
because I know I can suffer just a little bit more. I
can take a lot of pain." Today on Endurance Planet we
hear from the soldier/ultramarathoner/triathlete. Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
