the outdoor experience? Well today on Endurance Planet we hear about a new race that actually requires
headphones. We also hear about the Co-Director of the
race who, believe it or not, is a bit anti-technology. Interested in doing the Pod Trod?

videos about competitors he respects. One of those
fellow competitors is 6'1", 195 lb Navy Seal David
Goggins. Who is David Goggins? He describes himself

"I am a 32 year old who chooses the most painful
events to raise awareness and money for fallen and
injured military personel. I don't like to run, bike
or swim, but I have found that the harder the event,
the more attention it draws to my cause. My next main
event will be in 2009. It is called the RAAM. It is a
bike race across america that one must finish in under
12 days. The foundations I will be supporting are the
Special Operations Warrior Foudnation and the American
Military Families Foundation. www.specialops.org and
www.amf100.com."
We hope you enjoy Ferg's tribute to his friend Goggins
from the 2007 Badwater Ultramarathon in which Goggins
