In this video, Ben Greenfield and Tawnee Prazak answer a ton of questions, including:
I wake up in the middle of the night starving and cannot get back to bed until I eat something. I already am on a reduced carb diet with no processed grains, lots of healthy fats, and a good amount of protein (a very similar program to your Tri Ripped diet with a few variations). An hour and a half before bed, I have a high fat high protein dinner that leaves me slightly full. I regularly train between 15-20 hours a week and consume 3000 calories, which is a lot for a 5’8 125lbs guy. What is going on and what should I do?
Does Ben know anything about BASE Performance recovery activator. If so, how does it compare to extreme endurance.
During ultra marathons I like to eat crisps, am i better going for the high fat or lower fat ones, was thinking the higher fat might be harder to digest?
How many Extreme Endurance should I take before an IM and should I take some more during the race (how many and when?)
Is MAP better than taking a gel with amino acids in them?
I have heard that organic sodium ( from plants like celery), helps you to process other electrolites an minerals , an is very important, ,,what is the metibolic difference between this an regular sodium and what would be the difference between mineral salt such as himalayan, an normal table salt, in endurance events an training?
