EP covers the most in-depth study ever performed on low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) for athletic performance, titled the FASTER Study, which compares LCHF vs. high-carb diets in highly trained endurance athletes. In this three-part podcast series we are joined by Dr. Jeff Volek (the researcher) and Zach Bitter (study participant and elite ultrarunner) to dive into everything you need to know about what this study discovered, how it could change sports nutrition as we know it, and most importantly the practical applications for any and all endurance athletes wishing to adopt LCHF fueling strategies, including how it affects health and performance.
